“We stayed at this location while we were travelling through on our way back home. Overall, I was not very impressed. Check-in was good and my boys loved the pizza, but it was very apparent that this location is outdated and smelled old. The outside doors were never locked, so that didn't make me feel very secure. The rooms were okay and somewhat clean, but the walls were very thin and air conditioner not the greatest. The pool was okay, but looked very dated and was very stuffy (as the air vent...

“All the staff (regardless of what time of day you interacted with them) were very pleasant and got along with one another. The longevity of their time working for The Super 8 in Dunbar is a testament to how they’re treated by management. I stayed at the other 2 hotels in Dunbar and the owner has a big turnover of staff. If you like black mold and questionable bookkeeping (ie., billing inflated) don’t reserve at the Super 8. If you like clean rooms and honest billing then the Super 8 is the place...

“The property was scary. It might have been the clientele but my daughter and I slept with our pepper gel and stun gun out while putting the chair in front of the door. The Days Inn next door look better kept. I won’t be staying there again. Also the smoke detector what hanging off the wall. I don’t even know if it worked. There was almost an inch gap under the door into the room. Definitely don’t stay in that room since any critter could come in. I’m sure during the winter, it would be fun...
