“We visited in the off season and the staff still treated us as if we visited in the middle of their busiest season. They noticed that we were staying for a few days and called to offer us a first floor room (we declined). Our room was Beautiful! Very spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel itself was super easy to find and super close to everything both in town and out (Acadia National Park). There was a super yummy grab and go breakfast that was a nice surprise. “Good hotel overall: clean, spacious rooms, well organized, and a convenient free shuttle to downtown every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my “ocean view” balcony room was right in front of the air conditioning units and the restaurant’s exhaust chimney. Constant noise and fried food smell made it impossible to sleep well or enjoy the balcony. These rooms should not be priced the same as unobstructed ocean views.
Poor management decision that shows little attention to guest comfort.”

“This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. I woke up in the middle of the night with my sinuses burning and got to sit outside at 3 am just to breath. I ended up with a severe...

“Loved this unique experience! It did get cold towards the end of our stay, but that's because it was October and we got caught in the rain on a hike. They had tons of blankets and two heaters that helped a lot. If a dryer was available for wet clothes, that would've been outstanding. Also, our hiking guide/bartender, Jeremy, was amazing!! Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.”
