“Location is ideal for walking around Bar Harbor, there’s a grocery store less than 2 blocks away, the unit had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. We had a lovely time and would be delighted to return!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Pathmaker Hotel. A delicious breakfast was included each day. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to downtown. It is right down the street from the Sand bar path as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!”

“Good hotel overall: clean, spacious rooms, well organized, and a convenient free shuttle to downtown every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my “ocean view” balcony room was right in front of the air conditioning units and the restaurant’s exhaust chimney. Constant noise and fried food smell made it impossible to sleep well or enjoy the balcony. These rooms should not be priced the same as unobstructed ocean views. Poor management decision that shows little attention to guest comfort.”

“Nice motel, you can reach the harbor in 10 minutes on foot or easily with the bus. Very good choice if you plan to visit the Acadia National Park or for whale watching or other activities in Bar Harbor.”

“I can’t imagine going back to Bar Harbor and not staying here again. It was just perfect. The entire property was amazing. Our room was spacious and clean. The food was delicious. The staff was as friendly and helpful as could be. The property is in a Perfect location so we never moved our car. We walked everywhere. An added bonus was the live music in the evening. The yard was lit up with twinkle lights and we were offered drinks as soon as we sat down. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10...

“Lovely property, excellent location, and exceptionally friendly staff. The breakfasts and daily snacks were a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The only suggestion I would make is to pay a little more attention to the cleanliness of the carpets and floors. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our experience.”
