Hotel a Isola dei Cigni

“Personale accogliente e gentile.

“Place was wonderful overall. Very clean, peaceful, and the most accommodating, and friendly, staff.”

“Pros: We loved the location (right in town), the free breakfast was great, the staff were all friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. Cons: The elevator didn’t work when we checked in so we had to carry our bags to the 3rd floor. Not the end of the world but not what you expect staying in a new hotel. Our room also smelled like stale cigarette smoke.”

Posto eccezionale!”

“Beautiful place to say quiet location downtown Bar Harbor, easy to walk and get to anything. The staff was super friendly. Will be staying there again”

“Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.”

“Wonderful breakfast. Location was great walking distance to everything. Close to ACADIA NP. Staff was welcoming”

“Convenient location for the town centre, rich breakfast although very crowded. Children's playground and heated pool. Unfortunately the sound insulation in the rooms is very bad. Do not take rooms on the ground floor because you will hear all the footsteps from the upper rooms and you will sleep poorly.”

“We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...

“The breakfast was life changing. 🙏”
