“We arrived at Doryman’s Oceanfront Inn on New Year’s Day, so the pier and surrounding area were very active. Having just come from the peaceful pace of Santa Barbara, our first impression was a bit overwhelming, especially when we checked into a room located just off the lobby.
However, everything changed after we went for a run along the boardwalk. Running by the ocean and through the surrounding Newport Beach neighborhoods gave us a completely new perspective on how beautiful this area is....

“We arrived with instructions to retrieve the front door key from a lock box. We opened the lock box only to find it was empty.
We called our host numerous times, emailed and texted. We never got a response. We tried to contact hotels.com with no success.
We finally were able to speak to someone at The Evolve Team, which is the company that manages this vacation rental. After numerous calls back and forth they agreed to cancel our booking and begin the process for refunding our money in full. I...

“A great little place on the beach, few minutes walk to the ocean and 4 minutes walk to Newport Harbour filled with cute shops and lots of food options.
The area is quiet and very safe. We really appreciated the quick and easy communication with the property manager. He was kind and very helpful with our questions and concerns ie. We asked where we could find more coffee and he brought a new bag of grounds to our door.
A good place for a peaceful get away for singles, couples, or families. ”
