“We stayed for one night to attend a concert nearby. I'd booked a while ago and was a little dubious reading some of the recent reviews. The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle. We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture. The staff were lovely. There's minimal parking, but we managed to park...

“We stayed at the Bike and Boot Hotel in Scarborough for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the modern quirky decor. We had a medium sea view room which had a large king size bed with a lovely modern bathroom. We had a fantastic sea view from our window. It can be a little difficult at times to find a parking spot due to the number of hotels in the area. We did not stay for breakfast as we thought this was a little expensive. We would definitely stay here again as we loved...

“A fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy to find with ample car parking at the rear. Warm welcome at reception and friendly efficient service. Room was immaculate and very well maintained. Great night’s sleep, quiet location and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fab, staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and would happily stay there again. Thank you to all the staff at the Mayfield for a very comfortable stay.”

“Stayed here for one night just me and my little girl. Lovely welcome upon arrival by the owner. Brilliant room, has everything we needed. Comfy bed and fresh towels. Fast WiFi and nice hot showier. Lovely and quiet throughout the day and night. No complaints. Would definitely return.”

“Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff. The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. Would highly recommend and will be back in future, thankyou so much!”
