“My stay for two nights started from when I walked in. All of the staff is beyond amazing. Very helpful, and personable. I was comfortable through the entire process. I would also mention the bartender Lindsey, she’s an absolute sweetheart. I ordered my food from the bar so I could watch baseball. I ordered the macaroni and cheese. “Such a beautiful old historic lodge. It was super great for nostalgic purposes. Beautiful view of Penn Cove from our room, superb cocktails and dessert from the bar, roaring fireplace in the lounge, clean and spacious shared bathrooms. Slow bar and dessert service from the lounge but to be fair there were only 3 women serving the entire very busy restaurant. Front desk was very efficient. “The Harbor Home Base was the perfect place for our family to stay. With 4 couples and two pre-schoolers, everyone was comfortably accommodated. The location is close to Oak Harbor and was only a 20-minute drive to Deception Pass, where the wedding was located. The entire interior of the home has been beautifully renovated and updated. “We really enjoyed our short time at this property. Beautiful surroundings and not far from town. I’d definitely go back again. If you have problems however with stairs, this isn’t the place/unit to stay in.”

“We loved this quaint cabin. It was perfect for our family. The cabin is super secluded and very very peaceful. The beach was such a short, nice walk away and the area seemed very safe. The area was very quite, but the few local residents that we ran into were extremely kind and friendly.”
