“Beautiful heritage building, lovely friendly staff & excellent onsite restaurant.
The room was beautiful & the new bathroom was excellent too. The warm room on arrival, beautiful bedding & styling was lovely & I will definitely stay again. ”

“It was definitely a clean room, was disappointed with general condition of the outside of the hotel being rather run-down and sad, it definitely was in need of some TLC. Also not a good look to stack laundry bags near the outside wall of our room (at least a dozen).
Shower wasn't great due to water pressure, either scorching hot or freezing cold.
As I said was very clean and tidy inside and comfortable. ”

“Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel.”
