“the expansive ocean + wine glasses photo is highly misleading. any view of the ocean is peek a boo, and most of the property stares at a street and hedge that obstructs view of water. property: furniture, carpet, interior and amenities are old outdated and tired. on an 80+ degree day the air conditioning failed and they required us to keep it turned off. so hot impossible to sleep, and when approached about it the front desk worker said that they might be able to deduct 10%. totally over priced...

“You better like breakfast. Rita one of the owners takes great pride on pleasing you. Bakes her own bread and muffins.
I’d take the pasture room with picture perfect view of meadow with cows being playful. Much better than the small ocean view.”

“The property was quiet and the view was beautiful. The house smelled like dog pee though and that was off putting. The beds were comfortable. Besides the dog pee smell, it was a great property.”

“The backyard garden and the view of the sea are the showstoppers here. We were in Washington for three weeks and this was the best view of the islands we had. The Inn is conveniently located near Deception Pass which offers more breathtaking scenery and some great hikes. The breakfast was as impeccable as the garden. There is such an attention to detail here. We simply did not want to leave.”

“Our 2 night stay at Penn Cove cabin was magical! We saw bunnies, hummingbirds & eagles all from the front porch meadow area. And hearing the frogs in the pond as you drift off to sleep was so peaceful. The cozy little cabin is tucked away in the woods yet so close to anything you need. Deception Pass state park, Oak Harbor for morning coffee or groceries, Fort Casey/lighthouse & Coupeville are a must.
