“We checked in one hour early and they held our bags until our room was available. The room with King bed was big considering this was England & our rooms are usually shoebox size!!We enjoyed lunch & breakfast at their restaurant. You can walk to town for the mall and loads of eateries. We took an Uber to the port the next day for boarding which was reasonable & quick for our Cunard ship. Only thing I noticed not exactly right was a $44 charge when we checked out. Not clear on that as I thought...

“The hotel was really nice and the staff were very helpful. We were able to check in early as our room was ready and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel after checking out so we could go round the town. The room was very nice, although the fridge wasn't very cold and one of the mattresses was very soft, a bit like a water bed but I slept ok. Breakfast was amazing! “Bellissimo Hotel in edificio d'epoca. Zona tranquilla, staff gentilissimo. Tutto perfetto”

“Would def stay again. Note that there is no AC in this hotel. They do provide a fan but it was quite warm even with. Kudos for doing their best given the heat. Stayed here for one night prior to cruising — can walk to cruise ship from hotel no problem. Lots of things to in the area. Very close to Southampton central station as well. ”

“We had a warm welcome on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The situation of the hotel is perfect for walking into the town with excellent restaurants to choose from. We booked a snug double room which in itself was fine, however, we visited during a heatwave and found the room far too warm (even with the fan provided) and the bed a little on the small side. Having said that we found the decor and cleanliness perfect. ”

“Una facciata anonimamente tipica di mattoni rossi non facilmente distinguibile dalle altre in una giornata tipicamente piovosa ( ma perchè non ci sono mai i numeri civici negli indirizzi ?): e poi la sorpresa di interni colorati , quasi civettuoli, di un'ampia e confortevole hall e di una camera con gli standard Mercure ma con un tono in più ( l'accappatoio, il desk per il caffè/tea.... sicchè abbiamo potuto fare colazione in camera senza pagarla!).Abbiamo vissuto molto la hall ( una città nella...

“Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, great seating area to the front where you can enjoy a drink from the bar, very spacious room and en suite. Breakfast was very nice and cooked to order. Location is nice and close to the beach. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. ”
