“I stayed at RACV Goldfields resort for 1 night as I was in Ballarat for the marathon. I couldnt believe the size of the room when I opened the door, it was huge, it even had a spa bath! I had to go back into my emails to check how much I paid for the night, as surely I paid much more than what I thought! But no, it was so reasonable priced for the room I was given. “What was on the Internet not the same as experienced, Take "breakfast included" Is fruit juice, cereal, fruit and coffee/tea considered a breakfast? I doubt it. This outlet on market for past two years and it was noticable. Weeds outside and inside very run down. The whole area totally "unloved" I think owners should sell and cut their losses and let someone take over and run correctly as a B&B. “This is the most terrible place to stay. No deep clean undertaken in ann extremely long time. Only surface clean. Cottage smelt of old fat and cooking. The bbq was unusable it was that disgusting. There was cat pee still smelling near the bed. The only good thing was the linen was clean. The owner has no care and no interest in coming to the party to provide a refund. Never stay here ever. ”

“Hideaway @ hepburn was a perfect place to stay for my family. Clean and thoughtfully set up to give a welcoming feel. The shower pressure is next level.. we love a strong water pressure. Our daughter loved the games and crayons which provided lots of entertainment in the evening. The host was very helpful and quick to offer recommendations of places to eat which was great as word of mouth is usually what we go by.”
