“What an amazing place! Beautifully restored, warm, cosy and very welcoming/relaxing and with a fascinating history (used in many films). Helpful attentive staff whilst not being “stuffy” (a pet hate of mine!). Would definitely treat ourselves to a stay here again. ”

Very well appointed, all the food we had at breakfast on two mornings, and dinner one evening was very good. Although busy service was excellent, and all the staff without fail were a credit to the hotel. Very, very pleased with the whole visit, and would not hesitate to stay again.”
