Hotel vicino a York Road - Maidenhead

“Great location for Legoland, city centre and motorway. Room was cleanand comfortable, great breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Overall good value, but internet is a tad slow and there is no free hotel parking as wrongly shown on Expedia. There is a council car park, free from 9pm to 9am, easy to find space, but need to be careful with timings”

“For the price, good value for money. Room was average, could do with updating. We were lucky to have a spacious room with river view”

“l'hotel da poco "rinnovato" presenta davvero lacune basiche. Camere decenti, ma piccole. La doccia piccola e senza (o pochissima acqua calda!) TV presente in camere ma senza telecomando, e non si riusciva ad operare. Colazione BASICA. ”

“Parking was easy, however I wasn't driving. The room was adequately cool, no need for AC.”

“Staff were welcoming, very friendly and efficient. The hotel was rather dated and looked tired, especially the rooms, although they were clean. The use of a guest lounge with tea, coffee and water was a bonus, although provisions hadn’t been topped up, nor the area tidied when we used it in the evening. More Choice of games would have been nice, too. Given the spectacular and unique location, the grounds appeared very neglected, apart from around the restaurant area. Very expensive for what...

“Very run down and poorly managed hotel. Tv didn’t work, shower curtain was covered in mold, No clean towels as the took ours and couldn’t replace them for two days. People coming and going all night making a lot of noise talking in reception area that is right next to the rooms. Staff didn’t seem to care we didn’t have any towels for to days and hardly any sleep due to them talking loudly all night and playing music ”

“2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated....

“Not walkable to the castle- unless you fast walk for 40mins! Not a short stroll as advertised - it’s in the middle of an estate (not so nice ) Make you pay £££ deposit or no check in details Make you sign this ridiculous document also to say if they had to take deposit off you because of damage- you can’t leave them a negative review! Got signs everywhere to remind you not to make noise/ switch off lights etc - doesn’t make us feel relaxed Strange smell in games room and first floor...

“When I woke up in the morning , I noticed the bed sheets were covered in brown stains , the place seemed a bit run down and decor was jaded, I won’t be rushing back there”

“Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break.”
