“Great location for Legoland, city centre and motorway. Room was cleanand comfortable, great breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Overall good value, but internet is a tad slow and there is no free hotel parking as wrongly shown on Expedia. There is a council car park, free from 9pm to 9am, easy to find space, but need to be careful with timings”

“Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break.”

“When I woke up in the morning , I noticed the bed sheets were covered in brown stains , the place seemed a bit run down and decor was jaded, I won’t be rushing back there”

“Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. ”

“We booked this property because it was very close to a venue we were attending a wedding at, I had booked three rooms and requested one room to be a twin, despite me telephoning twice to check, but when we checked in it was still made up as a double, but it was quickly rectified. We had an evening meal which was pleasant, staff were good but I can’t say over welcoming, the bedrooms were clean, well presented but only had one hand towel, one packet of biscuits and no full length mirror. “Staff were welcoming, very friendly and efficient. The hotel was rather dated and looked tired, especially the rooms, although they were clean. The use of a guest lounge with tea, coffee and water was a bonus, although provisions hadn’t been topped up, nor the area tidied when we used it in the evening. More Choice of games would have been nice, too. Given the spectacular and unique location, the grounds appeared very neglected, apart from around the restaurant area. Very expensive for what...
