Cozy up! Perfect for a girls weekend or family getaway

Just a two hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia! Come for a wonderful and relaxing vacation in our beautiful newly renovated and furnished Poconos home. Truly Instagram worthy! This is the perfect place for a girls weekend, comfortably lounging in our loft or by the fireplace, or a family stay or ski-trip with friends. It's quiet, surrounded by nature, comfortably and newly furnished and has everything you need to relax and unwind. On a cold day you can cozy up by the fireplace. On a warm day, you can settle down with a mimosa on our back patio or grill while watching the kids jump on the trampoline. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there's everything you need to cook a beautiful meal and relax. Upstairs in the loft you'll find games, books, puzzles and a TV.

Located at 1800 ft elevation, our community association (Mt. Pocahontas) provides you with lots of fresh air and free access to an outdoor pool, tennis and basketball courts and a field and kids play structure. The pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Mt. Pocahontas has lots of quiet wooded streets, deer, as well as some seasonal roads to explore. Be careful for bears!

Pull up to our home and park in our driveway (we can accommodate up to 3 cars). You'll retrieve the key from the lockbox on the doorknob. When you come in the front door, you'll see an open concept living-dining area with a newly renovated kitchen (marble countertops), West Elm living room furniture, a gas fireplace, and a kitchen island with vintage bar stools. Downstairs you'll also find a king size bedroom and a full bathroom with washer and drier (free for you to use). There's a USB lightning charger (8 slots) and a wi-fi Sonos speaker for you to use. The dining room table (French farmhouse style) can seat 8 and there's room for two at the kitchen island, too. The dining area connects to the back patio where you can relax, have a drink and grill to your heart's delights (propane grill). The kids can jump around on the trampoline, throw a frisbee or shoot hoops in the driveway. There's also a fire pit and 4 lawn chairs for you to enjoy. Upstairs, cozy up in the loft on a large sectional with a flatscreen TV. We have fast WiFi for you to use. Watch your favorite Netflix movies or Amazon Prime or Disney+. The loft is loaded with fun board games. Little kids can pull out the wooden train set from under the couch. To the right you'll find a kids bedroom that can sleep 3, (with bunk bed & a twin bed) and another guest room with a queen-size bed and antique dresser and sewing table which doubles as a mini desk. All beds have new memory foam green-tea infused mattresses. There's a full bathroom upstairs for you to use as well. You'll be comfortable and cozy!

All sheets, linens, towels and soaps/detergents are provided for added luxury and convenience. We don't have central air, but there is a window-unit A/C in the main bedroom downstairs in case it gets hot and two fans you can move around at your convenience.

Outside you'll find a yard with a fire pit to make s'mores to your hearts delight! We supply fire starters and matches and you can find wood in the empty lot next-door or purchase from a nearby deli. We provide basketballs, tennis rackets and balls, yard croquet and other games to play as well.

The Poconos are tons of outdoor fun. Just 5 minutes away you'll find nature trails in beautiful and seclude Jonas Mountain County Park. Hickory Run State Park is 15 minutes away. Within a 30 minutes drive, you can explore trails, streams, waterfalls, white-water rafting, summer camps, hiking, 3 nearby ski resorts, historical trains at Jim Thorpe, golf courses, mini-golf, Nascar, hunting, fishing, indoor water parks and more. There's something for everyone!

Coming with the kids? Our home is loaded with board games, a toy train set, puzzles and kids toys. A pack 'n play is available upon request to help you pack lighter!

One doorbell video camera is located on the front door facing the street. No other cameras are located on the premises.
