“If you want to step back into 1977 Long Island, this is your place. Really disappointing. First entire day we had no hot water in the shower. Finally we had to change rooms. What a hassle. Hotel didn’t even apologize…or offer to help us move our stuff. Fridge in the room didn’t work and there was no way to adjust the lukewarm temperature. “The hotel personnel was cordial but very cold in nature. Surroundings need major upkeeping, our room was not clean when we got in, and despite the fact that we noted the effort to renew the bathroom, only the wall tiling and mirror coukd be appreciated. The rest was sloppily completed and not cleaned. The rest of the room was run down, but the space was good. Breakfast options: bagels, toast, waffles, cornflakes and branflakes. Stop. “Clean breakfast area and fresh food. Rooms recently renovated it seems but my room was dusty and didn’t get a real good vacuum so there were paper straws on the carpet and paper salt packets left around. Bed was a bit hard and lumpy. Shower was fine. ”
