“The room itself was fine. All I needed was a bed , tv and shower. It just was real old and dirty, and broken. My room smelled like smoke (cigarettes) so I asked the front desk to please get me a new room. He was very sweet and accommodating, but the second room he showed me, smelled even worse. “My room was fine - When I booked I must have selected accessible, not sure why I chose that. When I arrived to my room, the bed didn't have a box spring (in order to make it accessible). “When I arrived at 6 PM, the staff was busy, but I got in within a reasonable amount of time and they checked me in. The room is beautiful, and I love the decor. The bed slept really well and having a high-tech shower was great. Everything was so spacious and well laid out. Free drinks were helpful too and I was able to relax for two glorious, blissful nights. Their breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had and I’ve never had scrambled eggs so good either. “Wonderful stop for our trip. Staff was helpful and friendly. (Laurie makes an awesome omelet!) Staff went out of the way to make us feel welcome. Clean and very quiet rooms. Community pool with slides, kiddie pool and diving board next door along with a pool and hot tub at the hotel. CVS and Applebee's within walking distance. Great hot breakfast variety.”
