“This hotel is immaculate, the room, the bathroom and everywhere else. It is really spotless: from the beddings to the towels. The window shutters and carpet are of exceptional quality! Lots of choices of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room! The small fridge and a hairdryer look brand new as well. Brilliant! If you look for a cosy hotel in Norfolk, "The Old Bell" is a sure destination.”

“Starting with the positives: the room was lovely, large, well appointed and furnished to high standard, large bathroom with bath and shower.
BUT if you are staying on a weekend or the night before a Public holiday be prepared for the pub to be packed and the music to be loud. We could easily hear music and voices from the bar in our room, and it wasn’t just in the background. We complained and the music did get turned down which also meant the voices weren’t as loud, but we still had to sleep...

“A lovely pretty place to stay. We stayed in the Wood Lodge. Which was sweet with its own little garden / courtyard. Location is great especially as the beach is a 2 minutes walk where you can go and watch the sunset.
I would highly recommend this place, especially as there are different accommodation options to pick from.
Nigel was very helpful and welcoming.

“We've just returned from a wonderful stay at Heachem Beach and wouldn't hesitate to return. The caravan had everything we needed, even a fridge freezer which was a nice surprise. There are some steps to the left as you walk up onto the road, this leads to a track that then takes you down to North Beach, then you can walk along South Beach, and back to the entrance of the caravan park. It was great for the dog and the site even has a doggy shower for rinsing off those salty, sandy paws. ...

“Lovely place to stay in a central position to the village. Very old with loads of character. Staff were very friendly and the food was really great. Our room was cosy, simply decorated and comfortable. Lacked a dressing table or somewhere to sit with a mirror and plug for hair drying/styling but we managed. Situated set back off the main street, next to a small Roman Catholic church for which the bells chime at 8am in Sundays but wasn’t intrusive. Lovely choice of breakfasts on the menu too.”

Breakfast was good and the rooms are pleasantly decorated and clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area. The atmousphere in the pub was freindly but not in anyway rowdy. ”
