“This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...

“The hotel is amazing. The esthetic is wonderful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable but beyond that the staff was so friendly and helpful and solved every issue we had from parking a trailer to getting the bride’s luggage into their room a little early. You can tell they really want to be of service. Amazing place. ”
