“A wonderful hotel tucked into the forest in Tateyama. The rooms, onsen and especially the meals are all 5-star worthy! Take the shuttle from the station!”

“Old Showa style minimalistic ryokan, but the room for 5 was spacepus (double room) and the tatami beds and beddings arw comfortable. Self-service to put the futon (which was no problem for us). Power plugs and Wifi were abundant. We were fine with steps but for eldery or disabled it may be a challenge. The hot spring bath was nice. The temperature may be on a hot side but i think it is pretty standard. The tub was indeed made of wood (I assume hinoki).The place seemed to have a fair number of...

“This is such a great place to ski/snowboard. The hotel is great and has a lot of space, theirs a lot to do in the hotel also besides being outside in the snow. “Fantastiskt fint hotel i gammal stil och väldigt fräscht. Fantastiskt bra onsen. Erbjöd gratis biljetter till spårvagnen. På kvällarna erbjöds mindre skålar med ramen som var väldigt goda. Frukostbuffen är klassiskt japansk och otroligt vällagad. Rekommenderar starkt detta hotel.”
