Inspired by Amelia Earhart, The Landing is newly remodeled with custom furnishings that give flight to your Atchison getaway. 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a large fenced yard and access to a large 2 car garage. Your host is local and available to help you with your stay.
This home is perfect for game night, movie night, s'mores in the yard or just a quiet sit on the porch catching up on your reading or nothing at all.
The house is a single level retreat ready for you to call home while on the go!

Every year we come to Atchison for 3 days to help with the Special Olympics Heartland Winter Games at the Snow Creek Ski Area. This year we discovered "The Landing." This is absolutely the best accommodations we have ever had. Every detail has been thoughtfully provided ... All high end appliances, fixtures, beds, linens, furniture ... and everything completely immaculate! There is even a full-sized washer and dryer, a fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar, and games.We will ALWAYS stay here when we are in need of accommodations in the area. This house is very spacious ... perfect for an extended family vacation or just a quick week-end getaway. It is close to Benedictine College, the Amelia Earhart Museum, Snow Creek Ski Area, and the wineries around Weston Missouri.The host was super accomodating and informative.We will be back!

The house was so clean and inviting. The home had so many thoughtful touches that made our stay the most comfortable we have had. The home was well stocked on kitchen towels, and bathroom towels, pillows, cleaning products in the kitchen and sponges, strong water pressure, and many more. Cleanliness is very important to me, so this was huge. Michelle contacted me before our visit and was readily available throughout our visit. She really made us feel like we were working with family. There were nice touches like toys for the young ones, all the necessary kitchen items we needed, a common sense layout, and set up that worked great for visiting with friends of my college age daughter. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Atchison.

Just right

We needed a place to stay for mom's 85th. This was just right. Close to mom, restaurants and groceries. The back yard was perfect for the kids. The beds were very comfortable and the living/kitchen areas spacious and well appointed. The coffee bar....divine.

Convenient landing spot in Atchison

We came for a couple of nights to tour Benedictine with our family and this rental was very close to campus and large enough to fit us all. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the coffee bar was very much appreciated. The neighborhood was a little bit busier at night than we are used to, but we didn’t have any problems sleeping. Overall, had a very nice time.

Absolutely perfect!

The Landing was the perfect landing spot for our trip to Atchison for our nephew's fall wedding. We enjoyed the front porch with our morning coffee and the peaceful backyard at the end of the day. The decor is adorable!!! The kitchen is well stocked and the coffee bar was a special treat for us coffee lovers. The beds were very comfortable (and appreciated after our long drive) and the PILLOWS were amazing! Do yourself a favor and try the deep-fried green beans at Willies!!! You won't be disappointed. We couldn't ask for a better trip.

Great home away from home!

Our family (Mom, Dad, two teens) felt quite at home at The Landing! The inside was meticulously clean, and had everything we needed, including coffee at the coffee station, and great WiFi. We were pleased to be able to adjust the temperature as needed on a very hot weekend. Located just blocks from Benedictine College, it was the perfect place for us to "land" while helping our daughter embark on her freshman year. Thank you so much, we'll definitely stay again!
