“Everything was OK”

“Out dated rooms. Carpet was dirty. Breakfast was very basic. Tried to cancel after the first night and manager advised they had a 4 night minimum and didn’t offer anything. Air conditioner in the room broke last night we stayed there. They again didn’t offer anything to resolve this issue. Advised us to just leave it turned off and it would work again. It never did! Poor experience.”

“Staff was very helpful and friendly. Early check in was allowed seamlessly, zero issues. Room was tidied perfectly, and amenities including those in the room & complementary breakfast were great. Note; I booked the double queen suite, and I definitely recommend it; pretty much anything you could want in there & more. Definitely didn't make use of the dishwasher, and hardly used the full kitchen setup as a whole however it was a very nice inclusion, very nice shower also. Would definitely stay...

“It was very clean and bright”

“The employee who was working in the breakfast area was very attentive. She noticed that I was packing my oatmeal to go because I’m diabetic and can only eat at certain times; So she quickly provided me with what I needed without even asking her.”

“Ok Where to begin. The room was great,the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. However: the place in general was gross. The smell of water damage was present and there was only 1 elevator for the entire North tower. One guy said they are there every year and it has been like that for 3 years now. The elevator was smelly and kinda scary. I believe it used to be the service elevator. There was mold on the walls in the laundry room,there were panels of sheetrock missing and the new Sheetrock...

“End of May, 2 day visit. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was accommodative. Breakfast was more than adequate. TV access and usability was the best I have experienced in a 2nd tier motel: a very appreciated feature. The outdoor presentation is unfortunately very unimpressive -enough to turn many away, I would guess. Too bad. It was well worth the cost and a walkable distance to the KU campus.”

“Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Had a contenial breakfast which was what to expect for price. Some places don't have anything. Would stay there again.”

“The "free breakfast" was totally useless--aged apples cheap packaged rolls.”

“Everything was terrible about our stay there. It was Dirty. It had a kicked in door. It had mold on the ceiling and mold on the shower curtain. It was damp. It had a broken TV. I would not recommend anybody staying at this facility.”

“Loved how spacious it was. Nice set up. Good location to zoo & the Capitol. Had a Coffee Bar in same location for morning coffee/breakfast. Bed and pillows clean and comfortable.”
