“Extremely comfortable bed! Room was clean... front desk lady was lovely! However, the tub was probably installed in the 80s... and the tub faucet only ran hot for about 2 minutes at a time. Overall, it was a good experience!”

“The whole experience was perfect. Jen communicated well, giving all the needed instructions about entry and free parking etc. The room and all areas of the property were well appointed, very clean and had obvious attention to detail. This place is off the charts in character. I had coffee in the turret and looked out to see the St Lawrence River. The stairs require some attention by anyone who climbs them. If was a bit more expensive than other options but well worth the extra. ”

“Overall this is a very nice hotel, decent breakfast, friendly staff, clean... My one complaint is the height of the toilet. It's so low that the towel rack was hanging off probably from people using it to help them get back up. I was traveling with my senior mother and she had to go down the hall to use the family washroom because it had a rail. Definitely not an accessible hotel. The beds were comfortable though, just get higher toilets please. I'm only 5'4 and I had trouble getting back up. ”

“The location is excellent but I was disappointed with the accommodation. . The room was dated the upstairs sleeping area was up stairs that were steep . There was no escape if there ever was a fire. They advertised cream and milk in the rooms no cream there was no shampoo or soap in the bathrooms we had to figure out the Tv as it wasn't hooked up and ”

“The room was pretty gross. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Not like someone had just been smoking in there, but like it had years of smoking and it’s embedded in everything. Walking through the property you can tell it’s not well cared for. They painted the walls in sections but there was excess paint on all door jams and signs. It’s like someone painted who had no skill and got paint everywhere. The front desk staff was nice enough though. The breakfast was sub par at best. The...
