“This property transitioned from Days Inn to potentially Quality Inn on July 1, 2025. It is currently going through a significant retrofit of the entire complex. The portions that are finished are quite spectacular and bode well for the large amount of work that still needs to be completed. We were more than satisfied with our stay in the renovated room provided to us and also with the complimentary delicious and varied breakfast.”

“Wonderful rooms. Sitting room off the bedroom. 2 large living rooms on the main floor. Coffee/tea in room and also in the lounge on the second floor. Full breakfast cooked to order.”

“We loved the quaint area, unique nearby shopping. The bed was on the hard side, but still had a decent sleep. The suite faced the back of the building and therefore was very quiet. ”

“Before you judge the accommodations, keep in mind this historic hotel was built as a family home/farm in the 1800's. If you are looking for luxury accommodations then this is not for you, and if the room is the most important thing then you are truly missing the point of what this area has to offer. The rooms face the most beautiful lake and in the morning a homemade breakfast with your coffee and take it all in, look at the lock and watch as boats make their way....the hosts Jeff and Core are...
