While there were four rooms at the top of the stairs, we never heard another soul during our four day stay. The bed was comfortable and the recommendations for dining excellent. ”

If you want amazing hill views , a relaxed environment and friendly locals it's a great place to visit. Allendale house is very easy to find. Get off the ferry .. turn left and aim up hill.
