Struttura di lusso ma non snob.
Nonostante sia una struttura di lusso il personale è molto cordiale e per niente "snob", rendendo il soggiorno davvero piacevole.

This was part of our celebration of our 45th anniversary. This villa exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Emiliano and his staff were attentive, kind, caring and helped my personally with two "out of the box" issues during my stay. In short it was (from the perspective of a Texan travelling to Italy) the iconic Tuscany experience one is in search of. On a side note when I made the reservation in March I was slightly concerned there were no recent reviews in the past few months. I discovered it was because the villa is closed in the off season.

Little slice of heaven
Charming villa with a beautifully landscaped pool, tasteful decor, and delicious breakfast! The cappuccinos were especially good and the gracious owner was more than happy to oblige and make us 3 rounds of them at breakfast! They were also able to give us wonderful recommendations for wineries in the area!

A lovely stay but no hot tub :(
Gorgeous villa and helpful staff. The only downside was the pool was freezing cold and there was no hot tub. One of the main reasons we booked this villa over other places was the fact it advertised a hot tub!

What a beautiful quite gem tucked away. The rooms were so nice, big and luxurious!!! The staff could not of been nicer. Very helpful and accommodating! Highly recommend and we will be back next year!!! Grazie!!

Always in a hurry
Great place to relax and unwind as a couple, great swimming pool and nothing too much trouble for the lovely staff also nice relaxing breakfast. Centre of Florence not too far if you have transport. I will definitely stay again when next visiting Florence.

Einfach wunderschön
In diesem Relais fühlt man sich in die Zeit zurückversetzt. Das Zimmer war genug gross und passend zum Rest eingerichtet. Es hat genug Aufenthalt Möglichkeiten, wenn man nicht im Zimmer bleiben möchte. Das Personal ist super nett mit allen Hotelgäste und auch extrem hilfsbereit. In der nähe des Zentrums. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen.

Очень симпатичный отель и окрестности. Завтрак, парковка, большие комнаты, бассейн и красивый двор. Всё очень классно. Не уверен, что удобно будет ездить в центр для познавательного туризма по Флоренции, хотя на машине совсем не далеко. Супер, запоминаем и записываем в свои избранные отели;)

Die Toskana von ihrer schönsten Seite
Tolles Relais mit wunderschönen, großzügigen Zimmern [Wir hatten Zi. 6 und 7 (Perruzzi Suite)] im toskanischen Stil und mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten. Entspannung im Pool bzw. Whirlpool, auf der Liegewiese oder unter einem der zahlreichen Pavillons. Das Frühstück mit vielen frischen Produkten und einer - trotz der wenigen Zimmer - recht großen Auswahl haben wir meist auf der Terrasse eingenommen. Wer am Vortag bestellt, kann auch mittags Snacks bzw. kleinere Speisen bekommen. Mehrere gute Restaurants mit dem PKW in 5-10 Minuten erreichbar. Zur Bushaltestelle sind es zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten. Von dort 20-30 Minuten in die City von Florenz.

Wer etwas Besonderes sucht...
Ein Aufenthalt wie in seiner eigenen privaten Herrschaftsvilla in der Toskana. Stilvoll und sympathisch. Etwas abgelegen vom Trubel der Stadt Florenz, was den Vorteil ungestörter Nachtruhe mit sich bringt. Am besten das eigene Auto auf dem Hotelparkplatz stehen lassen und ein Taxi in die Stadt nehmen.

Exclusive but isolated
Getting to the hotel is an adventure in itself! It is located in a rural area and approached via small back roads and then up a steep bank which leads to the hotel gates. The hotel still retains the look and feel of a country hunting lodge as, although it has been extensively modernised, it retains the charm of its historical roots. The hotel does have an outside swimming pool, but it is not heated, and unfortunately the area does seem to be the haunt of mosquitoes, although the rooms are well protected by screens over the windows. There is no lunch or dinner provided but breakfast is adequate. The hotel also provide advice about winery tours, and we visited the Ruffino Winery, which is very enjoyable and offer a discount for guests from the il Sasso hotel. One word of warning if you do not have your own vehicle, and that is that taxi fares are extortionate especially if the driver does not know where the hotel is located (it apparently only costs E80 to fly from Naples to Cardiff but we spent more than that getting to the winery and then into Florence).

Nice hotel located in the hills.
Located just 20 minutes from downtown Florence, beautiful setting. Emiliano and his staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a pleasurable one. Suggested a private cooking class by a renowned chef high in the Florence hills that was nothing short of spectacular.

Sehr stilvolle Villa - ganz nah bei Florenz
Die Villa hat geschmackvolles Design und viel Atmospäre. Hier wurde historische und moderne Einrichtung stilvoll zusammengebracht. Der Staff war insgesamt sehr zuvorkommend und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Der Pool war gut zu nutzen und das Ambitente insgesamt sehr elegant.

Had a lovely four days here. We were attending a wedding nearby so just used the hotel as a base. Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed our coffees sat outside. we had standard rooms which were clean and comfortable.

My husband and I spent 5 nights. We enjoyed very much thanks to the owner's kindness and hospitality. I am looking forward to our next stay. I would like to send him a picture which my husband took: a lovely picture of him together with his pretty daughter( 14 months old ? ) at the swiming pool.

Wonderful stay
I enjoyed my stay a lot. The hotel is located away from the city where i can enjoy the tranquillity. The whole room is beautiful decorated with impeccable details. The owner Emiliano and his staffs are all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone who want to be in the Chianti region and still want to get into the city of Florence.

Beautiful villa with equally beautiful service. Located in the hills with a view, but still able to walk to town. Would return and recommend this villa.

Great hotel for a couples break
The hotel was beautiful, in a great location for those who to stay out of the hassle and bustle of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful and made our honeymoon an amazing experience. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a 5* service in a great location. Was on only was only a 30-45 bus ride from the city center and about a 20 min cab ride

Amazing Place to stay!!!
Villa il Sasso is the place you would love to stay near Firenze. 20 minutes from Firenze center, the villa offers a quiet, high class, elegant and pleasant place. We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff who did whatever they could (and much more) to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely be back.
