“Several large palmetto bugs in room, despite manager stating it was sprayed that day. No stoppers on any drains. She said "oh well that's FL " The shower was awful, water handle control spun around@ around and couldn't get hot water!! I would not recommend this place.”

“Stains on the bedsheets the shower wall was discolored half way down. The other air conditioner, shattered not at all what I would expect for quality inn.”

“Every day i had to get my key reprogrammed for my room...the 1st day there was no breakfast or coffee provided. Internet went out during the day..other guests were very loud and disruptive in the evenings and the elevator smelled of weed..fortunately i didn't spend much time in the hotel other than to sleep.”

“Very old hotel, unfortunately also the furnishings, as well as the mattresses and the very squeaky bed. Bad cleaning, mildew on the shower curtains and hair all over the place. The curtains do not darken perfectly, so in the morning light penetrates the window very early. The bedroom door does not isolate from the corridor, and all the noises and voices of other guests are heard. Finally, the price paid, which does not include breakfast, was very expensive. “The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. ”

“No washcloth no hand towel and only two shower dingy looking towels. Mold in the shower!”
