Hotel vicino a Barefoot Landing - North Myrtle Beach

“The only positive thing about this property was the fast check-in. Upon walking to our room we noticed a lot of dirty linen throughout the hallway , which seemed odd because if rooms were being cleaned why not put dirty laundry in a dirty hamper basket. Approximately 10 minutes after being in our room my wife was using the bathroom , a housekeeper barged into the room. My wife was so upset/ embarrassed. The housekeeper stated she didn't know the room was now vacant , she just wanted to make sure...

“Wasnt told that the balconies were not able to be used due to construction...even as I checked in, no one let me know anything. Not to mention I had someone from staff trying to enter my room at 9:30am as he thought I wasn't there...literally knocked and immediately tried opening the door...thank god the latch was locked, otherwise...he would've walked in on me.....not very happy honestly ”

“The cleaning and maintenance staff is a 10 out of 10!! Each of them greeted us at all times. Coming off the elevator, passing by in the parking lot, while they were cleaning the pool, etc. They made the stay very pleasant along with the property in general. We enjoyed going to the Tiki Bar by the pool, the bar tender is very nice and she recommended great drinks. CONS: 1. I wish they had restrooms closer to the pool so its convenient for the kids. 2. “The hotel has become dated. Furnishings in lobby are nearly tattered. Stained. Upper hallways are nice. Bedroom was austere. No dust ruffle. Only sheets. Thin blanket. Had to call for towels. We had two bath towels two hand towels. One circle soap. One shampoo and conditioner. Coffee pods- 2. Never replaced. Vinyl floors not cleaned under the bed. Crumbs and fuzzies. TV only had Samsung Channels. Restaurant had 2 staff members. We had reservations but left to eat off the property. Pool was...
