“The gentleman who checked me in was incredibly friendly and professional. Unfortunately, that’s where it ended. There is no way that this facility should be included in the Fairfield or Marriott portfolio. It was dirty, beat up, not well maintained and smelled horrible. I literally left and found somewhere else to stay.”

“This was top tier. Complimentary Valet service. They parked my car and unpacked the car and took the bags to the room and unpacked. We ordered a grocery delivery and they brought the bags up to the room. When we left, they came up to load the luggage cart and they packed the car.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes during our granddaughter and her sister’s Spring Break (April 13th–April 17th). “Nice resort. We stayed in one bed ocean view unit. #527. The HVAC was poorly designed. One small vent in bedroom. The living area would be cold, bedroom not getting enough air and stayed hot. If it was running you were cold in there but as soon as it cut off it would get hot.”

“well, first of all the pool was closed, and there was no notification of that before the room was booked second of all there was constructiong going on in the room either next to our room in Tower one started at eight and was going on until around 4 o’clock, I didn’t book the room to listen to someone do demolition. I booked a room for rest and relaxation. I think in the future when you’re gonna have someone doing construction, you should at least let the guest know before they book the room....

“My first trip to Myrtle Beach has been wonderful! Dong Shirley, Michelle, Leo, and the entire housekeeping crew have been fantastic.
