“1. The bathroom needs an exhaust fan. The mirror fogs up for a while after showers. Also, unpleasant odors linger too long.
2. I was unpleasantly surprised by the $5/day parking charge. This was assessed at checkout. This hotel has acres of parking. There is no need for a parking charge.
3. Breakfast was OK. The food was properly maintained and plentiful.
4. There were some ants on the coffee stand that we reported to staff. They were dealt with promptly.
We were generally satisfied...

“My daughter and I stayed here the night before an early flight. We arrived late and had to park behind the building. There was some “activities” going on behind the building. I honestly thought “I hope my car is here in the morning.” The limited interaction I had with the two employees at the front desk was pleasant. The room was clean. The screws on “safety” lock on the door were so loose that it rendered the lock useless. The most disturbing part of the stay was when we left at 4:15 am we used...

“We appreciated our stay at Homewood Suites. There was plenty of safe parking for $10/day and a lovely wooded hiking trail abutting the property. Everything was super clean in the hotel, breakfasts were fresh and varied and the coffee was great! While you can cook in your room, it would be limited. If planning to, bring a sponge and dish soap! 10-15 minute walk to the metro and about 30 minute ride to the Smithsonian’s in DC. We would stay again if we were in the area!”
