“It is a very attractive double bayed Victorian property, with pretty gardens front and back. The interior decorations were up to date but reflected the age and style of the house. Our room was very comfortable and the amenities within the room were great. Breakfast was lovely: cooked beautifully and well presented. We would definitely stay with Dave and Liz again.”

“The Malvern is a hotel run around a health club and spa. The best feature is its restaurant which is modern and serves good food. The spa itself has a nice and warm indoor / outdoor pool but the facilities are dated and tired. The rooms are very tired, think 1970’s travelodge, and in desperate need of an upgrade. Staff pleasant.”

“for this older hotel it was fine, breakfast was great . parking easy . clean room no A/c but not expected in this hotel ,but two fan left in room all in all enjoyable stay.”

“Had to change to a room with a shower only for disability reasons. Fire alarm close to 10pm didn't help because it was freezing cold outside in the meeting point in th parking lot. Not a fault of the hotel, but thermal blankets from the fire brigade would have been nice”

“The rooms were immaculate and serviced daily. Plenty of teas and coffee and milk. Wonderful views from the bedrooms over the Vale. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Good pub grub. Parking limited but managed fine”

“Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is amazing in all respects. It’s historical and very attractive set in extensive grounds. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I only had one meal in the hotel and it was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, it’s great.”

“Very friendly staff. They had time for you, which I feel in this day and age is unusual. Breakfast to suit you! Very dog friendly ,also good dog walking around, with poo bag dispensers and bins strategically placed around the village”

“We thought the breakfast buffet choices were limited, however the cooked breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were very efficient. Dinner was most enjoyable in a lovely dining room and the bar service was very good. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade with a four poster bed, this was a lovely surprise. Parking was onsite without additional charge. If you are planning on walking the Malvern Hills this Hotel is in the perfect location.”

“Probably one of my favorite UK stays. I booked the morning of as a bit of a spur of the moment decision. The price was absolutely fantastic, the room that I got could not be beat. The staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. Jess the supervisor was an absolute gem. The food is great, if I’m ever in the area again I will absolutely be staying here. Can’t recommend it enough!”

“Lovely property. Top quality furnishings and well thought out. The large walk-in shower with rain shower head was wonderful. The space was well laid-out and beautifully designed. It felt like a home. Excellent location. Close to restaurants, and in walking distance of the downtown area. We would definitely stay there again.”

“Eckington Manor is a lovely hotel with very nice rooms, set in beautiful grounds, a short distance from Cheltenham. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As the hotel is a little remote, we decided to eat in the hotel. The food was excellent as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will no doubt return if we are in the Cotswolds.”
