“Lovely and convenient place to stay. Unfortunately we were in the top room where the ceilings/ beams are very low so room didn’t feel ‘deluxe’ as advertised. Also my husband banged his head in the night on the beams (he’s on 5’ 9’.”

“The continental breakfast was pleantyful and varied,the room was spacious and clean and came with tea and coffee making facilities. The decor in the property in general was a little jaded but overall it was a fair price for what was in offer.”

“This B&B is all about the location, which is great, right on the quay, our room even had views of the quay and boats which was a pleasant surprise. Everything is walkable. We parked our car in the Stearmans Yard Car Park and didn't use our car until check out. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within 5-10 minute walk, a little bus behind the B&B takes you to the beach if you don't want to walk, although its £2pp each way! “Air conditioning was amazing. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and the toiletries and drinks were a really nice touch. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. Loved the stay and will definitely be returning.”

“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

“Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. ”
