“Le stelle sono esclusivamente legate a campo da golf e aree comuni. Le camere sono imbarazzanti: l'ultima ristrutturazione risale probabilmente agli anni ottanta. Mobilia vecchia e in alcuni casi rotta. La prima camera non aveva nemmeno le luci funzionanti, ne la principale nè una delle abat-jour, oltre ad essere minuscola rispetto a quanto dichiarato nella prenotazione. Ho chiesto venisse cambiata e mi hanno dato una quadrupla sempre vecchia e con un enorme problema di termoregolazione: fuori...

“Received a very warm welcome. The hotel and grounds were looking beautiful in the sunshine. We had a lovely character room in The Gatehouse with a modern well equipped bathroom . Dinner and breakfast were served outside in the courtyard and I had a complimentary G n T as it was my birthday. Had two lovely walks on the beach. The outdoor pool is beautiful but was a bit too warm and busy for me as sunny and lots of Spa day guests and members . We also had a delicious afternoon tea in the garden. ”

“St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...

“Not far from the railway station (a nice 15 minute walk), and the pedestrian area ( 5 minutes) very kind and always available staff. They assigned me a doble room even though i was alone. Right below the hotel there is the stop for the 700 bus with wich i went to Brighton. I would happily return to this hotel.”

We had a dog friendly room which was on the ground floor and gave us easy access to the large beautiful garden. Fan provided to help with heat. Clean rooms with lots of light and shutters for privacy. Food excellent.”

“Second visit and the hotel coverall was very good. However, the weather was very warm and so was the room with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the windows could only be partly opened due to security cables. Only a duvet was provided but far too warm for use. A sheet would have been good but not provided. A fan was provided but not that useful. So overall sleep difficult. ”

The facilities were clean and offering plenty of areas to choose from to unwind. Me and my Daughter had the most relaxing time together moving round the different jacuzzis and loungers. “Lovely pub and hotel. We walked here from the train station and didn't realise it would take that long. It took about 20/25 minutes to get to the city centre from the hotel. The rooms are lovely and the shower was great. The room sies get hot at night but there was a fan in the room. I would stay again but would cab it to and from.”
