Hotel a Basin

“Really not sure how this motel has an overall high star score. The night clerk with a missing tooth was so rude, its a motel & she said they had no extra pillows when the owner the next morning said they did. Beds were uncomfortable, hard, flat pillows, you pay for what you get!!!”

“The one switch on the Wall to put the light on and off when you enter the room was not working, hence one had to scramble in the dark to turn individual light switches on. There was a lot of disturbance at night from the alternate side doors opening and closing, which could have been closed during the night.”

“Room did not look like online pic chosen. No running water in sink, no stopper in the sink or bathroom. No phone in the room to inform staff or to request maintenance. (Shut down for the night). There was no microwave. No lotion, conditioner or shampoo… wasn’t really necessary, but this hotel is very basic. Beds were fairly good, linens were clean and front desk lady was sweet. Definitely “rustic” Montana. ”

“Yes the property was Secure. I found the heating air conditioning worked well but wanted to run continuously overnight even though I said it at Auto. The bed was comfortable too”

“I would not recommend staying at this property. While the facilities were clean and the front desk staff was friendly, we were charged again for our stay after paying in full through Expedia. I have attempted calling multiple times over the last week to get this issue resolved but each time I call I am told that the manager is not in and I will have to call again tomorrow. It’s been over a week and I cannot even speak to the manager to start the process of getting my refund back. ”

“We have stayed here 3 or 4 times now. We enjoy our stay as the rooms have been recently refinished. The room is cozy, however the small negatives are the bathroom sink lacks space (no space for toiletry bag or any items) and the parking in the center court is very narrow for large vehicles. Beds are comfortable and the ac units do the job. We didn't get a chance to use the sauna on this trip. The electronic checkin (you get code and room number via text)works get as the office isn't staffed....

“Hot tub was closed pool was cold, queen beds seemed more like full size.and the breakfast what little was there was awful. Oh and went to take a shower that night and no hot water so had to get dressed and go to lobby., then had to pack up to change rooms. Would not recommend it. ”

“We arrived on the heels of a snowstorm after driving 10 hrs. We were greeted by a well-dressed, highly professional desk clerk who efficiently and eagerly answered all of our questions and a few we didn't know to ask. I do not recall the woman’s name but she was a young woman from Great Falls. She was just a gem! Our room was clean, smelled great and the shower was perfect. Breakfast the next day was outstanding! We stayed in 5 hotels over 6 days on the road and this was the best by far!! I give...

“Noisy, poor air conditioning/ heat. Could not turn the fan on to help with noise control. Layout of the building was confusing. The front staff were ( always) in the back rather than being available when customers were present during a busy time. I must say we have travelled a lot and it was one of the few at the bottom of our list. Would not recommend this place to anyone.”
