“Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front. Large room with plenty of wall lights and lamps as well as spot lights. Lovely sized room and bathroom. Plenty of boiling hot water as soon as the tap was turned. Beds were clean and very comfy. “Ideally situated for Burghclere Castle.Amenities in the room was more than adequate with all the extras such as hair dryer, iron ironing board for those staying more than overnight.Extras in the room water tea coffee and chocolate biscuits etc all the extra touches.Quality bed linen and towels. The newly appointed owners are in the process of upgrading and decorating the rooms. Ours was comfortable, warm and plenty of hot water. “We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. ”
