“Needed a short stay for the weekend and Econolodge seemed decent enough as I was not planning to spend much inside the room. I chose a non smoking room but it wreaked of cigarettes. Upon inspecting the sheets, I noticed a bunch of stains/spots that looked like bedbugs stains. The Sherpa blanket had some sort of hard permanent stains. Pillow cases was almost yellow. “The room was still dirty, sheets were heavily stained and soiled. The beds were not put together properly (fitted sheet and flat sheet only on beds, no blankets of any sort) and one pillow per bed. One of the pillows had dried blood on it. Phone did not work, no batteries in the remote, AC smelled musty and gross when the air was turned on. We left immediately after checking in. ”
