“The room was one of the worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. It smelled like vomit and I had to use a half bottle of cologne to mask the smell and then my eye's were burning from the cologne. The door to the bathroom had a hole in it that someone spackled over and then just painted. The entire place was a mess. I'll never stay at a La Quinta AGAIN!!”

“Canceled my reservation an hour after check-in while I was already 2.5 hours into a 3.5 hour drive for my daughter’s Nationals competition. I booked months in advance through Expedia. They claimed they were short staffed and overbooked. The manager, was unapologetic and told me to “book somewhere else.” When I explained we were traveling with a baby and were one hour away, he threatened to hang up on me for “yelling” when I was simply upset. “Old lumpy bed. Sheets that I’m not sure were clean. Nasty shower. Walls were made of cardboard as I could hear conversations next door and above me. Dogs barking. Lots of people coming in well after midnight. Next time I will spend the extra money for the Hampton Inn. ”
