“This was a wonderful hotel to stay in. I stayed a week. My only concerns were 1. another patron was using an aromatic product that smelled like a skunk, but when I brought it to the attention of the staff, it was directly attended to; this was to be a nonsmoking facility. 2. the staff/manager spent the one morning I slept in speaking loudly/yelling instructions to staff with doors repeatedly closing (I assume the staff was getting room ready for cleaning). “The property could be updated. But in saying that, the staff were very nice, the room was comfortable but needed to be swept. It might not be important to others, but to me it is the comfortable pillows, and they were comfortable and so were the beds.The pool was very nice and quiet. “For the price of the room this place was great. It had everything you needed. It doesn't have a lot of extras. Granted it's not a five-star hotel but it had a TV, it had a makeshift fireplace, and a cabinet. It had a nice desk/table, mini refrigerator, microwave. The room was not perfect as far as the walls there's some spots that might need to be painted but to me that's nothing. The bed was nice and comfortable no lumps. Overall it was a nice stay. “We really enjoyed the cabin and would consider staying again as long as they add some different furniture. There needs to be a nice comfortable couch added. There is only one couch and a chair that is almost unusable and the couch is basically just for looks. We had 2 adults and 2 grown children there is definitely room for additional furniture. But the backyard right on the water is amazing and would be a wonderful place to visit in the summertime..And the tub was a huge hit with our boys.”
