“The staff did not speak English very well or clearly. The "free" breakfast had been discontinued and the pool was closed for refurbishing. The security bolt on the inside of the door was "broken." The room coffee maker was "dirty" or stained so we did not use it. Very disappointed. During the booking process through Expedia, the hotel web page did not say that the free breakfast or that the pool were no longer available to customers.”

“I had a wonderful stay at South Lake Chalet. The room looked exactly like the photos online, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent—close to casinos, shopping, and a variety of restaurants. I especially enjoyed the studio room with its convenient kitchenette, which included a Keurig coffee maker, making it easy to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee each morning. “The over all stay was decent and staff was “invisible” in a good way. Available if needed but not underfoot. We were far enough off the main highway that it was very quiet. Lots of trees and shade. The thing that destroyed our stay was the fact that there are NO CHAIRS or a couch. Nothing to sit on with any back support. We resorted to bringing in our lawn chairs we were using on the beach.
