“Very nice hotel”

Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and was excellent with good choices and nice touches like home-made jams and granola. We ate in the restaurant for dinner several times and had great food every time. Staff were helpful whilst being unobtrusive. Our only suggestion is to advertise the vegan options better as...

“It was stepping in to beautiful history with the friendliest most accommodating staff around. Truly special and delicious food.”

“Great location, lovely accommodation, great, helpful staff, good food Thank you”

“Lovely little gem with comfortable rooms and a fantastic shower. It was a little bit noisy having the window facing the garden Pub but it closed at a reasonable hour!”

“The Blue Lion is ideally situated for a stop over when making a long journey to Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the road, but that did not spoil our one night stay. The staff were welcoming and the locals were friendly. The evening meal was excellent. I would stay here again if travelling in this area.”

“Warm and friendly welcome and it stayed like that all week As to the room it had a lovely powerful shower, a comfy bed and a kettle what more could I want”
