“Room & furnishings were dated. There was sun-wear on the heavier window shade causing pin sized holes in it. Carpet was so dated it didn’t look clean. I wouldn’t walk on it barefooted.”

“Great location - close to main commerce area, shopping, dining, biking, horse drawn carriages, ferry etc yet located up peaceful street. Afternoon tea with cookies. Nice large communal porch with rocking chairs. Hearty breakfast. Some rooms share bathroom facilities. Staff very helpful. Would stay again.”

“We had a long hot day on Mackinac Island. We checked in late evening to find the phone didn’t work, the shower didn’t work, bath tub didn’t drain properly. Initially said there are no rooms to change to. It was late so we showered in another family members room while waiting for a repair. Management was unable to get a repair completed. “It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Close to the state park with lighthouse museum and fort michilimackinac within easy walking distance. The free shuttle bus to Sheplers ferry dock was also appreciated.”
