“Think 1960s guest house at the seaside. Cosmetically pleasing. Bed soft and clean but tidy looking behind the initial glance. Worn out, damp/smoke residue where it has soaked in walls over the years. Lots of chips in furniture. Plasterboard smashed in annex and falling off wall Two in a room one packet of biscuits. When we went to switch TV on layers of dust behind it. Grout coming away and missing in shower. Towels thin and harsh. Wish we had chosen a premier inn for night same cost better...

“The public areas are lovely. The pool area is dirty looking and very shabby, I’d take flip flops. Rooms are dated and could do with a deep clean. In desperate need of a refurbishment and deep clean. Breakfast was warm and not very appetising.”

“One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Been here several times over the years and the staff are always super friendly and helpful, the amenities are great, and there's always plenty of space to park the car. The rooms are spacious with a good living area and nice beds.”

“The room was a good size but smelled badly. We opened the windows which did clear it eventually. Found someone else's deodorant on the floor under the desk. The staff are very nice. Car park is free and always had spaces. Great location for the sea front. We had hreakfast off-site so can't comment on that. ”
