“Fantastic stay as always”

“I wanted a hotel by the Sydney Airport. I thought 4/5 was a good enough rating to stay one night before flying out. I was so wrong. We checked in and headed to our room. Such a sterile hallway that seemed almost like a jail. Worse, the hallway reeked of Marijuana. Room smelled overly perfumed and I thought….well at least it’s clean and this perfume is the cleaning product. But the carpet which was a weird memory foam looked like it had never been cleaned. “The staff were wonderful, friendly, and very helpful. The location was perfect, right in front of the beach and surrounded by excellent restaurants. The hotel also was fantastic. The only downside for me was the cleanliness. When we arrived, there were pieces of paper on the nightstand, the surfaces were dusty, and there was hair in the shower and on the bathroom faucet.
