“Rom/Cabin was roomy and cozy. It had a fireplace which needed wood. I did not use this. The pool and hot tub was nice and used during my stay. Very quiet location with the exception of highway noises. The property is good for dog owners with area for dog walking and potty stations. Very enjoyable stay”

“NO internet connection. When I called the front desk, I was immediately transferred to an outside internet provider. I didn't understand why I had to figure out the internet connection by myself as if it was my problem. I spent more than 30 minutes on the phone without any success. I hang up and called the front desk again to complain. Finally, they send the technical person, and he told us that their property has been having a connection problem with apple devises, and if our device is Mac...

“The hottub was really the sweet spot, cabin was nice overall, the a/c and airflow sucked, had difficulty sleeping due to lack of airflow and it being hot, big bear is a little packed and overrated, not much to do. Good if you want a weekend getaway, not much else.”

“It was enjoyable but they need to air out the cabins. The smell is so dingy and dusty. I had to go buy air fresheners and candles just to be able to breathe. The people were nice and that was important. Definitely 2 things bad 8 things good.”

“Everything was fine,my kids really enjoyed the playground the only thing that was bothering me was the fridge not working properly my drinks and milk were warm. The cabin was clean and it had everything we needed to make a meal. My family wants to go back next year.”

“The place is older so don’t expect everything to be brand new but, it’s clean and cozy. Lots of heaters, fireplace, hot tub in room and in the middle for pricing. Staff is very helpful and was available to help us with the tv and fireplace. Definitely recommend but don’t hit for persons with super high expectations. We had a great time and will be back in the future.”

“My room door could be opened easily with a credit card or butter knife . I asked the front desk for another room they said there were no more available until I showed him video proof. Then in the middle of the night they tried to take 1,000$ out of my account. My bank stopped the transaction and shut my debit card off . I had to use my credit card for the remainder of my stay. “We really loved our stay. They’ve updated a lot of the amenities. Price was amazing for an 8 minute/.5 mile walk to the main strip of town. We’ll definitely be back.”

“You must get a confirmation message with access codes to the hallway and your room as there is no lobby or front desk. This was very inconvenient and not mentioned during booking. Its simply a room above a country Kitchen restaurant. Clean room and nice bed however the threshold between the room and the sink was lifting up and the brad nails were protruding and my wife had the bottom of her foot cut open”
