“Hidden Gem. Under massive construction BUT the room was spotless: sheets and towels are white. Fully equipped clean kitchen with a dining table. “We expected more from Holiday Inn Express. We’ve used Expedia and other discount sites for years, but it seems like that means we’re placed in old rooms which are the farthest away. I guess that makes sense considering we’re getting a discount. Breakfast was not replenished for the entire breakfast time. No attendants. No bath towels. We were told to go find a maid to get them. Keys didn’t work, so we spent a lot of time going from far end of 3rd floor to front desk.”

“We had just stayed in a LaQuinta in Glen Rose, TX and it was wonderful. The low rating here is due to a couple of things--one of which is out of the control of the local hotel. Unlike in Glen Rose, we needed to do a couple of tasks for work and needed access to the wifi.
