“The best way to describe this hotel is: straight out of a fairytale! The view from literally anywhere you look are absolutely spectacular. The hotel is 150 years old but they have done an outstanding job at conserving it authentic and classic look but with some modern and classic touches for comfort. You feel like you are transported in a time-capsule machine to a classic, glamorous and beautiful place. Certainly an experience that I would highly recommend ”

“the rooms was very small, without air conditioned (with outside temperature of 32°C we missed it), and a very small bathroom (no space for the sink, which was located near the beds!). the room was on the first floor right above the main street, and although the village is quite, the traffic (motorbikes) woke us up at 7. nice small terrace with lake view. breakfast at the restaurant in a nice position near the lake. we also had dinner there, not bad, but very expensive and far from Italian...

“Good Beautiful location. Our room had sweeping unobstructed views of Lake Brienz. Very friendly staff, especially Anubhav who went out of his way to assist us with our every need and request. Nice large rooms with decks and a hot tub. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast buffet included in cost of the room. Conveniently located within walking distance to the train station. “A lovely property situated in a valley with a beautiful view. Well equipped with comfortable beds and 2 good showers. A good sized fridge with small freezer compartment. The property is just a 20 minute easy drive to Interlaken, where you can take the train to the amazing Jungfrau region, where there are mountains galore to explore.”

“Absolutely amazing apartment. Everything you could need. Very close to the station and supermarket which is ideal. The host was very helpful and was happy to answer text messages during our day. To wake up and look out over the lake and see the snow top mountains was priceless.. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”
