“The Stone Cottage rooms were clean and had a spectacular view of the lake. Rooms/bathroom were on the small side but other than that no complaints”

“What a wonderful experience staying at the Borland House is! With the quaint, homey feeling of the whole house, to the kindness of the staff. Your stay will absolutely be lovely. Ample towels are provided for the private, spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed decorations are in the bedroom. I was in the Hummingbird Suite. I could see myself living there, it just had everything I needed. I look forward to visiting again in the future!”

“I ruled out this property at first because the website pictures show carpeted floor of rooms. But it does not have carpeted floor- so it's clean! If they update room pictures, more people will book this hotel for sure. ”

“Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Es gab immer 3 warme Speisen (Omlett,Würstchen, Kartoffelecken) außerdem Bagels,Toast. Man konnte sich Waffeln selber Backen. Außerdem Cornflakes,Porridge und Joghurt sowie frischen Obst. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Sie wurden alle 2 Tage gereinigt. ”

“The hotel was overall clean and comfortable. There were a few areas of the common place that could use some TLC. Like the elevator. We were right above the breakfast area and in the morning we could hear a loud talking under us beginning around 4:30 AM which we realized was the staff members setting up the breakfast which was a little annoying because it woke us up much earlier than we had planned. We would stay again. Very convenient, clean and comfortable overall.”

“You get what you pay for. Not an ideal place to stay for a single woman- even the uber driver told me that.”

“I repeatedly asked for a later check out bc I work nights. Housekeeping at 11 am banging on the door and the room phone ringing off the hook after I advised the night clerk I needed a later check out and was reassured that it was not a problem. There were ants crawling up and down the walls I mean huge ants and those centipedes (two) of them in my room. One crawled across my foot. Please do better. Will not be back!”
