“Excellent mattress in room, but dust bunnies under the bed. Some electrical plugins didn't work. They reused coffee grounds during breakfast instead of putting fresh grounds in the 2 coffee makers in the breakfast room. Continental breakfast was scrambled eggs, potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. (same ole, same ole). A side of just sausage would have been nice. Nothing exceptional, just average for the price, of a 30 year old hotel.”

“The property and staff was top notch. Only downfall is the low profile toilets in rooms…although they are ADA height.”

“First hotel I have ever stayed at that did not have a blow dryer in the room. No one was ever at the front desk to ask if one was available. There was medical tape to keep the curtain closed. The windows look if they have never been cleaned.”

“We loved the large suite. It was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast was good as well. I also like that there was a Chinese restaurant next door, prices were reasonable. Also a Bar and grill restaurant across the street had a nice menu and reasonable priced. Quick Trip a block away as well. Nice area.”

“We had a late check it for an early morning flight. The receptionist that night was great. He was really helpful, kind and when we told him that we had to check out at 3:30 for an early flight he said that breakfast would not be ready yet but all we had to do was to let the morning guy know that we were leaving for an early flight and he would give us a bagged breakfast. We did and they gave us fruit, muffins, cheese sticks and juices! Oh my gosh! I have never been treated so well! And the rooms...

“We enjoyed our stay at bantr Grand Hotel Wausau. The property and room were clean, and the staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub are really nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious complimentary continental breakfast. My only feedback to the hotel is it the outside of the property needs better lighting, it was really dark in the parking lot. Also inside, a lot of light bulbs needed replacing in stair wells and hallways. Did not take away from...

“Hot tub and pool was nice. Breakfast was OK. There was stuff in the fridge that you could heat up in the microwave. The staff were OK. I had stayed Friday through Wednesday and I had asked twice in a row for our towels to be picked up not only that but I had asked two more times for more room towels because our room was not kept up with other than that service was OK.”

“Very uneasy place to sleep. Ended up leaving at 2 am because there was a suspicious person lurking around my car and didn’t want to risk it getting broken into as we are moving and our whole life is in there. Also my towels were stained and dirty and the top lock latch was broken.”
