“I usually don’t write hotel reviews unless a place is either so bad it deserves a documentary… or so good it makes me question my actual home. 😂
This time around, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville Blount Island absolutely delivered.
From the second I walked in, the presentation and customer service were flawless. The lobby was clean, the staff was friendly, and nobody looked at me like I was inconveniencing them by existing. That alone deserves applause these days. 👏

“Being an old schoolhouse definitely made it unique. The room was small but didn't feel like it. The view over the courtyard was peaceful and the live music in the evenings was nice way to end the day. If you want quiet before 9 pm then I would look elsewhere but we thought it made for a nice evening. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to everything in the historic district which was a huge plus to not have to deal with finding or paying for parking. The room and whole...

“The African American girl at the front desk with long braids didn’t seem happy to be there . Had a little bit of an attitude when I checked in. However the girl who checked me out was much more pleasant . Bed was comfortable and pillowed were as well. Tv lost signal a few times . Had a goo night sleep with it being quiet . Ac seemed to struggle. Beach is right across from the though so it’s kinda worth of it .”

“The lobby staff is very friendly and greeting you at the front desk to get you checked in. Lobby looks newly updated and gave a vibe that this was going to be a great hotel. Once checked in drove around hotel parking lot sitting in parking lot did not feel safe getting to room hallway smell like wet dog”
