Hotel a Neptune Beach

“We stayed for a few nights for our spring break. This is a motel style building with a pool, a bar next door (attached to pool lounge area) and trail to the ocean. There are also public access areas to the beach on either side. The motel rooms are simple and clean with air conditioning. Our bathroom didn’t have a fan which isn’t ideal but ok. I had to constantly hold onto the bar in the shower to maintain my balance and even then, I was very afraid of falling!!! I had to straddle the outer edges of the shower floor to brace myself. ( just get a visual on that - funny to read about but not funny to experience). As much as I like the hotel and I would like to stay here again on my travels, but I don’t know if I will because...

“I am truly disappointed in this entire transaction. The hotel was booked back in July of 2022. Sometime during the hotel closed in January 2023 and no notification was sent to me letting me know about this. I was super lucky to be able to pivot and find another room at a different location. I wish there had been some communication about the closure. Hotels.com did come through in getting me a refund. ”

“The room looks like it had been hardy in and they had things hanging with things peeling missing paint. The baseboards were dirty. There was constant bug problem. The the door needed to be replaced or have weatherstrips added to it because there was daylight coming through at the bottom and on the door handle side of the door. “ Very disappointed with check-in. We did arrive at 230 for 300 check in at 400 we were still waiting and was told they were waiting for rooms to be ready. After multiple times inquiring about room we were told they would upgrade and gave us room on 6th floor. A few of the check in agents were not very friendly. Breakfast staff was great. Facility was clean. ”
