“We stayed in The Vine room which is not part of the original hotel but in a structure to the side of the hotel. The bathroom was modernised but otherwise it was dated decor. That said, it was clean and fine all round.”

“Arrived after hours. Easy instructions to follow. Room heater was on. Most welcome touch. Room newly renovated. Has all amenities we needed for a weekend stay. Easy driving distance to Hobart CBD and access to freeway for all Tassie has to offer. Happy to say again”

“Quirky, friendly historical venue. Everything worked well and although the building is tired, the owners and surroundings made up for it. We booked in for dinner and were provided with a warming, substantial home cooked meal and a Charming hostess. Good selection of wines. Lots of accommodation types available. Close to Richmond (walk or drive) and easy access to other areas. Beautiful scenery and lots of animals that any children would love. ”
